Admission fees and other tariffs are shown in the table below. Although you are welcome to pay on the door, we encourage you to book in advance, as it saves long queues at the reception desk. There is a discount for booking in advance; please note that some items (e.g. the conference dinner) must be booked in advance to guarantee you a place. For 2010, advance bookings by post must arrive two weeks before the conference, by Saturday 11 September. On-line bookings close one week before the conference, at 11pm on Saturday 18 September. These deadlines allow us time to process the bookings before the event. There are three methods of booking, ...

  1. On-line: Payment by credit card or bank transfer. Complete the online form, below, and then pay via PayPal.
  2. On-line: Payment by cheque. Complete the online form, below; then write your booking reference on the back of your cheque and post it to us.
  3. By Post: Payment by cheque. Print a copy of our order form (PDF (37K)) complete it and post it to us, together with your cheque.

This form is for Advance Bookings. The admission prices on the door are higher than those shown here and, of the discounts shown here, only the BCA members' discount is available on the door. For on-the-door prices see here.

Step 1: Complete this form...
If you are making a group booking for more than one person, please complete this form for one person at a time, beginning with your Group Leader (this is the person who we will contact with any queries). After completing this form you will have the opportunity to add further people to the booking.

Name and Address

Name of delegate:      We need the name (first name / surname) of each delegate to the conference. This includes children and any lecturers or members of staff who may be claiming free admission.

If you are booking for more than one person, please give the group leader's name and address first and enter only one name per booking form. When you have completed the form for the first delegate, click on the 'add another person' button in step 3, below. For the remaining delegates we just need their names.

Discounts on Admission:
  • BCA / Student discount. Direct Individual Members of BCA and full-time undergraduate students are entitled to a discount. Please click the box to the right, and also state your BCA membership number or the college/university where you are studying in the boxes below.

  • Package Discount. If you book admission, dinner, stomp and T-shirt, a discount will be given on your booking. The box to the right will be checked automatically if your booking qualifies for this discount.
  • Group discount. Each adult in a group of six or more, booked in advance for the weekend, is entitled to a discount unless they are also claiming the package discount or the lecturer/staff discount. The Group discount will be shown separately when your booking is totalised.
  • Lecturers' & Staff Discount. Lecturers and essential staff can claim free admission for the day they are working. Please select 1-day or 2-day discount (details) and give the reason (e.g. title of your presentation if you are a lecturer) in the box below.

Conference Dinner: Meat or vegetarian options. Must be booked in advance.
Stomp: tickets, in advance (up to 5pm on the Saturday), Also available on the door.
Conference T-shirt:. Book in advance to be sure of obtaining one.
Camping: You can pay in advance or on arrival. The fee is per tent for the weekend.
Caving Clubs
  • Free pitches for caving clubs must be booked in advance, and are subject to space limitations. See Info for Clubs. Please give the name of your club or group in the box below.

  • A free-standing club display means that we allocate the space on our room plan and you bring the display. We do not have any spare display boards for you to use

Step 2: Check your booking
Now that you have entered the details for one person, please check the summary in the box below. Please note that you may need to use the scroll bar to see the total extent of your booking. If something doesnt look right, please click here to refresh the screen.

Step 3: Choose an action
Note: Do not use the 'refresh' button on your browser, at this point, or you might cause all the previous data you have entered to be deleted. If your browser blocks pop-ups you might have to enable them for the next stage of the booking process.

Click this button if you do not wish to make any further changes to this booking, and you want to go to the Confirm and Pay page. Click this button if the details above are correct and you wish to add an additional person to this booking. Click this button to delete the details you have just added. The information for any previous delegates will be retained. Click this button to jump back up the screen and modify the data you have just entered. Click this button to completely erase all the information you have entered, and start again.

We think it probably does - mostly. But, to be honest, like many companies that try to do their software testing on the cheap, we're exposing it to customers to get you to do the final testing. Please be reassured that the security of your personal information is not at risk. All the bits to do with actual payments are handled on the PayPal web site, which is nothing to do with us.
