General Information: The Small Print

CREG home | Payments Home

Aims of the Group: CREG aims, by means of a regular Journal, other publications and meetings, to encourage the development and use of radio communications and other electronic and computer equipment in caving and related activities. Complimentary copies of the Journal are sent to other similar organisations and deposited at the UK Caving Library and the British Library.

Membership of the Group Following a re-organisation at the 2007 AGM, CREG no longer has "members". All those who pay a fee to receive the journal are "subscribers" with no voting rights. CREG operations are now directed by BCRA Council and BCRA members may exercise control ober the group via the BCRA AGM.

Annual Subscription Rates are shown at caves.org.uk/payments/creg/ and these apply regardless of whether you are a member of BCA or BCRA. Full-time students and the unemployed or retired can have five issues for the price of four. Send subscriptions to the CREG Membership Secretary (see bcra.org.uk/creg/).

Payment Methods

Bank payments by cheque should be made payable to British Cave Research Association and must be in UK currency, drawn on a UK bank. If you live outside the UK, your bank may be able to give you a cheque drawn on their London branch. We can also accept electronic transfers - please ask us for our IBAN and SWIFT codes. Please note that we will not accept any form of payment where we have to pay a transaction fee - all fees must be paid by the sender.

Credit Card payments are possible, via online banking facilities (we use PayPal and NoChex)

Cash Payments are not advised but, at your own risk, you may send UK banknotes or US$ (add 20% to exchange rate and check you don't have obsolete banknotes).
