If you wish to
pay using a UK-based credit or debit card, you can do this via NoChex.
UK and International customers can use PayPal, where you can pay using a
credit card or a transfer from your bank account. Please note: Payments
will be made to the personal account of David Gibson. The payment will appear
on your bank account as NoChex or PayPal and not as CREG or David
Gibson.
Postal payments
Your cheque should
be made payable to British Cave Research Association. (Please do not
make it payable to CREG). For subscription renewals, please write your
subscriber number on the back of your cheque and send it to BCRA, The Old
Methodist Chapel, Great Hucklow, BUXTON, SK17 8RG. For all other payments,
please send your cheque to Rob Gill, 61 Cross Deep Gardens, Twickenham, TW1
4QZ.
If you send your cheque to the wrong office it could introduce a long delay!
Cheques can only be accepted if they are in UK currency and drawn on a UK bank. For overseas subscribers, this is usually possible if your bank has a branch in London, but you might be charged a large fee for obtaining such a cheque from your bank. International money orders can be accepted but not Eurocheques, nor any form of payment where a transaction fee has to be paid by the recipient. You may like to verify this before you send a cheque because, if it cannot be accepted here, you will have wasted your fee.
Internet Banking
If you have
access to your bank account online, you may find it possible to make a transfer
of funds direct to our bank account using our IBAN and SWIFT codes. However,
please bear in mind that international transfer of funds is often very
expensive. It is your responsibility to ...
- ... ensure that you pay the correct amount in your own currency. (You will need to ask your bank what exchange rate they will apply).
- ... ensure that you pay all the fees for the transaction. (This may mean that you need to specify 'sender pays all fees', otherwise our bank may make a deduction before paying us).
To proceed, you need to request our IBAN and SWIFT codes from creg-enquiries[at]bcra...etc.
