How to Order

If you need to see our catalogue, please download the Price List and Order Form P1. You should then return the form to us with your cheque, or you can pay online via PayPal. Details below.

If you already know what you want to purchase, and you know the price, you just need to send us a payment (by cheque or via PayPal) together with a message describing your order. Again, details are given below.

Subscriptions to Cave & Karst Science Online are treated as Publications Sales but please use form M4a instead.

How to Pay

1. To pay online...

To pay online, please go to the PayPal web site and send a payment to our publications account paypal.publications@bcra.org.uk. Please make sure you include a message with your PayPal payment, describing what you want to buy, e.g. "Cave Studies #17" or "Speleology 12". Please allow 7 days for delivery. Our organisation is manned by volunteers and although you can pay instantly, we cannot respond instantly.

 

2. To pay by cheque

Please make your cheque payable to British Cave Research Association and send it to BCRA Membership Office, The Old Methodist Chapel, Great Hucklow, BUXTON, SK17 8RG, Great Britain. Please include either an Order Form or a short note describing your order. Please write "BCRA Publications Sales" on the back of your cheque. If you are paying by cheque, please allow 28 days for delivery.

 

Cheques can only be accepted if they are in UK currency and drawn on a UK bank. For overseas customers this is usually possible if your bank has a branch in London, but you might be charged a large fee for obtaining such cheque from your bank. We cannot accept any payment where a transaction fee has to be paid by the recipient. You should verify this before you send payment because, if our membership office cannot accept it, you may have wasted your transaction fee.

 

Further Notes

For the Attention of Subscription Agencies: please do not order back-issues by reference to the year of publication. Both Speleology and Cave & Karst Science are experiencing severe publication delays (see schedules) and publication is no longer linked to a calendar year. Please request specific back-issues (e.g. Speleology 12, C&KS 34(3)) and not "publications for 2008", which is too vague for us to be able to understand what you mean!

Enquiries about Missing Periodicals

During the period in 2005/6 when BCRA and the newly-formed BCA 'consolidated' their membership services, there was a certain amount of chaos and a number of people accidentally let their BCRA membership or their subscription to Cave & Karst Science lapse.
