Application Form for Subscription to BCRA's Online Content

Please note: This web page is for use by people who require only a subscription to BCRA's online content, (including Cave & Karst Science Online). That is, for people who do not require membership of BCRA, nor a subscription to the print edition of C&KS. For all other subscriptions, please use form M4.

This page is under development. An automated facility should be ready sometime in Summer 2009. In the meantime, please follow the instructions for 'manual payment' below.

To purchase a subscription to the Online Edition of Cave & Karst Science...

1. To pay online...

To pay online, please go to the PayPal web site and send a payment to our publications account paypal.publications@bcra.org.uk. The rates are GBP 6.00 per month and GBP 18.00 per year. Because we have not yet automated this system there will be a slight delay in issuing you with your login credentials. Please make sure you include a message with your PayPal payment giving your name, email address, and what you are purchasing (i.e. monthly or yearly access to Cave & Karst Science Online). Please note that BCRA is run by volunteers with limited spare time and there may, unfortunately, be a delay of a few days before we can respond to you, with your login credentials.

 

2. To pay by cheque

Cheques can only be accepted if they are in UK currency and drawn on a UK bank. For overseas customers this is usually possible if your bank has a branch in London, but you might be charged a large fee for obtaining such cheque from your bank. We cannot accept any payment where a transaction fee has to be paid by the recipient. You should verify this before you send payment because, if our membership office cannot accept it, you may have wasted your transaction fee.

 

The rates for monthly and yearly access to Cave & Karst Science Online are GBP 6.00 and GBP 18.00 respectively.

 

Please make your cheque payable to British Cave Research Association and send it to BCRA Membership Office, The Old Methodist Chapel, Great Hucklow, BUXTON, SK17 8RG, Great Britain. Please write on the back of the cheque your name, email address and "CKSO via D.Gibson"

 

When your cheque had worked its way through our system your login credentials will be emailed to you. However, please note that BCRA is run by volunteers who are distributed around the country there may be a delay of a few days before we can respond to you. It may speed things up if you send an email to publications-admin[at]bcra...etc to let us know when you have posted your cheque.
